✨ Text of the Work:

Are you known from the outside or the inside?

This sculpture delves deeply into the layers and dual nature of human existence. Although it looks like a single figure when viewed from the outside, the body of the work is divided into two, revealing the smooth and bright self inside.

The rough, moss-covered texture of the outer layer of the sculpture symbolizes the difficulties and experiences of life, while the golden figure inside represents the purity of the soul and the immutability of the essence.

When viewed from the side and back angles of the sculpture, it is actually a single figure. It seems to consist of two figures integrated in one body and all four arms emphasize this unity.

This work questions the dual identity that each of us carries and the relationship between the face we show to the outside world and the true self we hide inside.

The sculpture invites the viewer to discover both the burdens he carries and the true self hidden within these burdens.
